5 Master Edits with Sound

Voice Over: For every introduction of each edit I announced which one it was with a voice over. I also did it for the ending shot. Another voice over that was included was in the symbolism shot where I explained how the Trojan statue was a symbol of the trojan playing basketball and I walked the audience through it.

Non Diegetic Sound: Non Diegetic is when the people in the film could not hear, therefore it is a type of sound effect. I used non diegetic sound in my Leit Motif when every time Sydney entered the room the Hannah Montana theme song would play. That music was added in. Other music added in was the entire contrast shot, when I went from dancing in class to hype music to sleeping on a bench to a lullaby. The last example i used non diegetic sound for was the simultaneity when Darica was calmly enjoying her lunch privately.

Diegetic Sound: In the Simultaneity where the kids are playing games at lunch used the diegetic sound which means I put the sound that the people in the video were hearing. Diegetic sound was also used in the parallelism shots where you can hear the natural water noise in both shots.

Sound Bridge: I used a sound bridge in the leit motif because it is the same sound rolling into multiple clips. The Hannah Montana theme song is over every clip in the leit motif.
